The Hug An Author Blog Hop is hosted by Bringing the Epic, What's On the Bookshelf, and Many to Read. This blog hop has 6 questions total for participants to answer. I will be answering one question per day, as the hop lasts 6 days. We all love to read books (Well, if you are reading my blog, I assume you love to read!),but we rarely think of the people who have written those books. So this is a chance to "Hug an Author"!
If you could pick 3 authors to have a meal with, who would you choose and why?
I actually answered a question like this for a Top Ten Tuesday a few weeks ago. Check out "The Top Ten Authors I'd Love to Have at my Thanksgiving Feast". It was hard enough picking 10, now it will be even harder to pick 3!
The first author I would want to have a meal with is Kristin Hannah. I love her books, but she also seems like someone that would fit in so well with anyone I would introduce her to. I am always reading something she has posted somewhere online (Facebook especially), and I just love reading it because she is so real and down to earth!
Another author I would want to have a meal with is MaryJanice Davidson. I love her Undead series, although I am quite behind! She is so hilarious though. I am always laughing out loud when I read her books. And if she is hilarious in her books, she has to be a hilarious person right? I would love to just listen to her for even 5 minutes.
And the third author I would love to have a meal with is Janet Lee Carey. I have talked with her a bit through email recently, and she is so nice! Dragonswood was absolutely amazing. I wish I had an imagination like her. I would love to just listen to her talk about all of the things going through her mind.
